River Lodge garners LEED for Homes GOLD

The River Lodge of the Susquehanna was officially awarded the LEED for Homes Gold Certification in February, 2013.  


American Society of Concrete Contractors Award

River Lodge’s unique concrete interior floor received a nod at the National Awards presentation in Las Vegas, Nevada during February, 2013.   Rosebud Concrete, who performed the installation, received a first place award by the Decorative Concrete Council for a Polished Project under  5,000 square feet by the American Society of Concrete Contractors. The Susquehanna River Lodge was recently awarded Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association (PACA/PCPC)’s 2012 Project of the Year Award for Outstanding Achievement in Residential Construction. Following the award, Specify Concrete featured the Susquehanna River Lodge for its “Decorative Concrete in Action”.

The River Lodge withstands the Great Flood of 2011

Construction of The River Lodge on the Susquehanna began in March, 2011.  Since that time it has faced the effects of three hurricanes, a tornado and three historic floods.  2011 is expected to be the wettest year ever in Pennsylvania.
